Our story
Nhift started with a simple, painful observation: the healthcare system measures nurse turnover obsessively, yet invests almost nothing in nurse careers. Nurses are handed HR portals, annual surveys, and mandatory training, then asked why they're burning out.
We believe the answer is obvious. Nurses need career visibility, mentorship, flexible growth paths, burnout prevention, and real opportunities. So we set out to build the platform we wished existed: part LinkedIn, part Duolingo, part GitHub, designed entirely around the realities of nursing.
Today, Nhift helps nurses discover specialties, find mentors, map certifications, and explore roles across their organization, all guided by other nurses that understands the profession. The mission is to keep great nurses in healthcare by helping them build careers worth staying for.
